Question

Named Ahl-e-Hadith one brother Allama Nurul Islam Olipuri da.ba. Has commented below on one of its statements. I am seeking your opinion in this regard. I am presenting the exact statement- Response to the baseless statement of Mr. Olipuri about ‘At-Tahiyat’ (i.e. Tashahhud) on the night of Mi’raj: First of all, we are clearing our position on Mi'raj. We believe that one of the best miracles of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Allah Ta'ala has taken the Prophet (peace be upon him) to the heavens physically. We believe in every statement about Mi'raj that is proved by the Qur'an and Sahih Hadith without words, without argument. I believe in the words of Allah and His Messenger Mi'raj. Where Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) have stopped, we also stop. Do not let the imagination run wild on your own. And I think it is an abomination to describe anything imaginary without pure description. Hopefully the esteemed reader has clearly understood our position about Mi’raj. This time our main statement: We heard a 16-minute speech of Mr. Nurul Islam Olipuri a few days ago. In this statement he discusses Mi’raj. In his 16-minute speech, he gave a fatal message on at least five issues. His third misconception was that the first thing that Allah said to the Prophet (peace be upon him) on the night of Mi'raj was 'At-Tahiyatu'. The most common saying in our society is that the Prophet (peace be upon him) gained 'At-Tahiyatu' on the night of Mi'raj. Does. There is a common story about this. The gist of the story is that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) approached the Most High on the night of Mi'raj, he greeted Allaah and said: “At-Tahiyatu Lillahi.” Then Allaah said: “As-Salamu Alaika.” May peace be upon his ummah as well. That is why he said: ‘Assalamu Alaina wa…’ Then Jibreel (AS) and all the people of the sky said: ‘Ashhadu াদু’; Some storytellers say, "As-Salamu Alaina." It has been narrated in various hadiths that the Companions used to recite salaam at the last sitting of the prayer: ‘Peace be upon Allah, peace be upon the Prophet, peace be upon Jibreel’; Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to them: ‘If you do not say so, you will say at-tahiyatu. This has been said in all the hadiths. There is no hadith that says that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) received ‘at-Tahiyatu’ on the night of Mi’raj. Imam Qurtubi said: "There is no basis for this story. Nowhere is it known that it has been described in any text with a certificate. The incident of Mi'raj has been mentioned in various hadiths and sirat books. Nowhere do I see that this story is told in the case of Mi’raj in a narrative with no credentials. "Some people have mentioned it without a certificate." (Qurtubi, Tafsir 3/425) At-Tahiyat is called Tashahhud. Narration of Tashahhud in Sahih Hadith: Narrated from Shakeek Ibn Salamah. He said, "Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said, 'When we prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), we would say,' Assalamu ala Jibreel, wa Mika'il, and Assalamu ala fulan wa fulaan. ' Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) looked at us and said: “Allaah Himself is the Peace, so let one of you say while praying: And peace and blessings of Allah be upon you, O Prophet! Peace and blessings be upon you, peace and blessings be upon you and peace be upon us and all the righteous servants of Allah); Because when you read it, it will reach all the righteous people in the heavens and the earth. And it will also read ‘Ashhadu al-la-ilaha illallahu wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh’ (i.e. I testify that there is no god but Allah. I also testify that Muhammad is the servant of Allah and His Messenger) Bukhari 731, 735, 1202, 7230, 6265, 6327, 6361 Muslim 402 Abu Dawood 96 Ibn Majah 699 Nasai 116, 1169 Bulugul Maram 314 Tirmizi 269 Ahmad 707, 813 Mishkatul Masabih 909 Darimi 1340, 1341, 1347 Ibn Khuzaymah 604 Irwa 338 The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) taught Tashahhud to the Sahaabah with the same importance as teaching the Qur'aan: Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (R) said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) took my hand in both his hands and taught me Tashahhud, just as he used to teach me Surah of the Qur'aan." Muslim 402 Ahmad 609, 610, 612 Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to teach us Tashahhud in the same way as he used to teach us Surah of the Qur'an." (Muslim 403) Dear reader! Think about how seriously the Prophet (peace be upon him) taught At-Tahiyyat or Tashahhud to the Companions. But nowhere does he say that this is the sentence I had in my conversation with Allah on the night of Mi'raj! " A detailed account of Allah's conversation with the Prophet (peace be upon him) on the night of Mi'raj exists in the books of Hadith and Sirat. But there is no mention in any of the hadiths that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) started talking to Allaah with ‘san-tahiyyat’. 7681763282

That is to say, a little knowledge is terrible. It is foolish to deny the existence of a subject without mentioning it anywhere. Most of the allegations of ignorant people against wise people are foolish. But if it had the mentality of wanting to know without complaining, how much better it would have been. Not everyone will know everything. Therefore, Allah has instructed in the Holy Qur'an to ask and obey the wise. But what could be more stupid than complaining without knowing? Imam Qurtubi said. World famous commentator. The acceptability of that book is well known. Imam Qurtubi (may Allah be pleased with him) in his commentary on the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, i.e. verses 265 and 26, wrote in his Qur’anic commentary: Translation: Narrated from Hazrat Hasan Basri, Hazrat Mujahid and Hazrat Jahhak. Surely this verse is from the time of Miraj. Similarly, it is also found in some narrations from Ibn 'Abbas. However, some have said: Gabriel (peace be upon him) brought the whole Qur'an to Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) without this verse. Which the Prophet (peace be upon him) heard on the night of Meraj. And some say that this verse is not from the time of Miraj. Because, the incident of Meraj took place in Makkah. And this full Surah has been revealed in Medina. However, those who say that this verse was revealed on the night of Meraj say that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) ascended to heaven and reached a high place, Gabriel (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was with him. They even reached Sidratul Muntaha. Then Gabriel said to him, "Surely I cannot cross this place." And no one but you has been given the right to cross this place. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) passed by him and reached the place where Allaah wanted him to reach. Then Gabriel (peace be upon him) pointed to him (peace be upon him) to greet Allah. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, 'Attahiyyatu lillahi wassalawatu wat twayibatu.' Then Allaah said, Assalamu Alaika Ayyuhan Nabiyyu Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) wanted a part of the salaam to be allocated for the ummah as well. So he said, Assalamu Alaina wa Ala Ibadillahis Salehin. Then Gabriel and all the people of the heavens began to say, Ashhadu Allah Ilaha Illallahu wa Ashhadu Anna Muhammadan Abduhu Warasuluhu. Al-Jameh Liahkamil Quran that is Qurtubi in Tafsir, Surah Baqara in Tafsir, Verses No. 265-26. The same narration has come - Bahrul Uloom i.e. Shamarkandi in Tafsir, Surah Bakara in Tafsir, Verses No. 265-26. If we take a closer look at the statement of Imam Qurtubi, we can see. The incident narrated in Qurtubi in Tafseer is not a fabricated incident. It also has a certificate. Which is narrated from Hazrat Hasan Basri, Hazrat Mujahid and Hazrat Jahhak. Not only that, Imam Qurtubi (may Allah be pleased with him) has said that it has been quoted in some narrations from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him). Imam Qurtubi (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote in clear language that this verse has been narrated by Hasan Basri (may Allah be pleased with him), Hazrat Mujahid (may Allah be pleased with him), Hazrat Jahhak (may Allah be pleased with him) and Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him). And those who have said that this verse is related to Meraj have quoted the above incident with it. So what happened? The narrator of this incident, Hazrat Hasan Basri, Hazrat Mujahid, Hazrat Jahhak, as well as some of the narrations of Hazrat Ibn Abbas are quoted. Even then, what could be more foolish than just ignorantly commenting on the incident as formulaless and fabricated? Mentioning the narrator in the book of reliable commentary, I entrusted the task of judging how wise it is to comment on the narrated narration as a conventional fabricated story to all the wise readers. The complainant may say that, Imam Qurtubi: Those from whom this narration has been proven are not acceptable. Imam Qurtubi (may Allah be pleased with him) has fabricated stories in his Tafsir with references from three great muhaddiths and commentators and historians. Having said that, he can prove it by presenting documents in the case of this bizarre claim. But it does not seem to be anything more than rudeness and arrogance to mock the incident as a fabricated conventional story without checking the source of the incident. Allama Olipuri da.ba. InshaAllah, the full moon will never fade like this. May Allah protect the Muslim nation from the misleading research of these very ignorant scholars. Amen. 8891188347
