It is saheeh masala to keep four fingers between the feet during the sijdah of the prayer. That is also the purpose of the anointing of the ankles in the prostration on page 139 of the 1st volume of Beheshti Yeo. That is, do not keep too much distance between the two ankles. Rather keep it close to Milan. Whose distance amounts to approximately four fingers. The complete annexation of the two ankles cannot be due to the fact that even if there is an act of one hadith in it, the action on the other three hadiths related to it becomes argument. And as we have said, three of the four hadiths narrated in this regard are directly acted upon. There is little explanation in a hadith. The hadiths are as follows: (1) Hazrat Aisha. It is narrated that he said, "One night I started looking for the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, without finding him in bed." Then my hand fell on both feet of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Which was then in an upright position. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was prostrating at the place of prayer. (Mishkat Sharif, p. 74) (2) Hazrat Abu Humaid As-Sayyidi narrates the prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in a long hadeeth. At the end of which he said- then he would lean on the ground for prostration. In prostration, the hands were kept separate from both ribs. And he used to bend both toes towards Qibla. (Mishkat Sharif, p. 8) (3) Hazrat Bara Ra. It is narrated that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) bowed down, he would make his toes face the Qibla in such a way that there was a gap between the two feet. (Baihaqi) It is obligatory to keep the space between the ankles of both feet in the prostration by the three riyavats mentioned. Because, the third hadith is very clear that there will be a gap between the two legs. And it is narrated by the 1st Hadith in such a way that both the legs do not stand up when the ankle is mixed. Rather becomes curved. And if four toes are left empty between the two feet, both the feet remain upright. Similarly, it has been said in the 2nd and 3rd hadiths that the toes should be kept facing the Qibla. This is also possible when there are four toes between the legs. This is because, if the ankles of both the feet are matched, it is not possible to turn the toes of the two feet towards the Qibla except for the big toe. (4) Hazrat Aisha. Narrates that one night I lost the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). But he slept in the same bed with me. Then I prostrated myself looking for him. In this condition, the ankles of his feet were matched. And the toes were matched. And the toes were facing the Qibla. [E'laul Sunan, Ibn Hibban, Nasai] This hadith is the document of those who say to prostrate in ankle. But if one hadith is followed, the remaining three hadiths have to be omitted. And the last part of this hadith cannot be acted upon. This is why the fuqaha 'say that the ankles mentioned in the 4th hadeeth mean that the ankles of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) were close and close, and the meaning is that since the distance between the ankles is not more than four fingers, . The fuqaha 'have given this explanation because if they do not give this explanation, the toes which are said to be facing the Qibla at the end of the hadeeth itself cannot be acted upon, and the above three hadeeths have to be omitted. It cannot be acted upon. Those who say ankle match, they also talk about Fatawa Shamir. But the fact that in Fatawa Shami it is said that the ankles should be joined in both ruku and sijdah for men, this and the document he has presented in its favor have not been accepted by other fuqaha. The reason is obvious. 7215184242
