First, don't look at the hadith- عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ” مَا مِنْ وَلَدٍ بَارٍّ يَنْظُرُ نَظْرَةَ رَحْمَةٍ إِلَّا كَتَبَ اللهُ بِكُلِّ نَظْرَةٍ حَجَّةً مَبْرُورَةً “، قَالُوا: وَإِنْ نَظَرَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ؟ قَالَ: ” نَعَمْ, اللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَأَطْيَبُ ” Narrated by Hazrat Ibn Abbas RA. He said, The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, when a devout child of a parent looks at his parents with grace, Allah gives him the reward of one Hajj mabrur (accepted Hajj) for every look he gives. Companions requested, O Messenger of God! If a hundred times daily gaze? He said, yes, his too. Allah is great and holy. (Shuabul Iman, hadith no-7472, Kanjul Ummal, hadith no-45535, Mishkatul Masabih, hadith no-4944) Jalaluddin Suyuti said, the hadith is Zaif. (Aljameus Sagir-8043). Shaykh Al-Albani said, This is Jaif. (Zaiful Jame-5180) The hadith is certainly Zaif from the point of view of the chain of transmission. And Zaif hadith is acceptable in terms of virtue.
