Question
There are some complaints about Ijtema in this link- “Truth seekers friends! The Tablighi Brothers have started the Ijtema on Friday in Tongi's Maidan with the Jum'ah prayers of millions of people. How beautiful the subject to ordinary people! The Ijtema begins on the day of Jumu'ah, and the Jumu'ah prayer is offered again. Apparently, they often do not start with Jumu'ah but keep the last day as Jumu'ah, the day on which the Ijtema ends with the world prayer. If you are a true follower of the rules of Islam, then I would like to ask some questions: -
- Did the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ever perform Jumu'ah prayer on the ground outside the mosque in his life? But much of his life is full of travel.
- Don't the Ameer Sahibs of Tablighi Jamaat know that one of the conditions for Jumu'ah prayer to be wajib is 'Iqamat', meaning that people should live in their homes and not be travelers. Therefore, the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) did not recite Jumu'ah on the plain of Arafat, even though it was Jumu'ah on the day of 'Arafah. Aren't those who have gathered at Tongi's Maidar from different places Musafir today?
- Doesn't the Hanafi school itself say that Jumu'ah is not just for the townspeople but for the villagers? (Although there are differences of opinion, but it is recognized in the Hanafi school of thought.) No, it is the prayer of the Tablighi Madhhab.
- Needless to say, almost all the people of this Ijtema are Musafir but they do not offer ‘Qasr’ prayer during the prayer. But the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) used to offer Qasr prayers during the journey.
- People are being encouraged to pray on that ground or people are interested in praying there; But it is better to perform the obligatory prayers in the mosque. For this reason, I say, it is not necessary to look at the outward appearance of the people to know the Tablighi Jamaat or any other Jamaat. You see, their period. If it is in the way of the Prophet, then it is rejected. In this way they have been discovering multiple innovations through this Ijtema. And the common people are running back in excitement. I do not know what is the real rule of Islam, I do not know the circumcision of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) in the state of Muqbeem or Musafir, nor do I try to know. On the other hand, the Ijtemakars are pushing us towards one Biat after another in Islamic form, domination of the majority and arrogance! And we keep saying, have so many people forgotten ?! ” In some places such statements are also circulated in the form of leaflets. I am making a humble request to remove the confusion with the appropriate answer. 5912995619

Due to his ignorance of Hadith and the Prophet's way of life, and above all his ignorance of Islamic jurisprudence, the brother raised the allegations mentioned in the question. The above allegations are based on ignorance of religious knowledge as well as blind resentment and hatred towards Tabligh Jamaat. The answers to each question separately are quoted below. Answer to the 1st question: Did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) never leave the mosque and perform Jumu'ah in the field? The Prophet. When he migrated from Mecca to Medina, he stayed for some time in a village called Alia or Koba, three miles from Medina. Huzur stayed in this village on the outskirts of Medina for a few days. During his stay in Cuba, the Prophet (peace be upon him) built a mosque. Named 'Masjid Koba', it was the first mosque in Islam. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) left for Medina again. By the time Huzur reached the valley of Bani Salem bin Auf on the way, it was time for Jumu'ah. He performed the Jumu'ah prayer in that valley on the outskirts of Medina. This is the first Friday in the history of Islam under the leadership of the Prophet. A mosque was later built at the place where Jumu'ah was observed. Which is still known as 'Jumu'ah in the mosque'. But when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) offered him the Friday prayer, it was an empty field. This is the first time in the history that Jumu'ah Huzur Sai himself led the prayers and delivered the sermon. It is said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Albidaya wan Nihaya - The chapter on the events of the first Hijri. Qurtubi in Tafseer - Surah Jumu'ah, Khajen in Tafseer of verse no. 9 - Surah Jum'a, Kashshaf in verse no. Even an ordinary Muslim knows that there was no mosque in Medina before the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to Medina. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was the first to build a mosque in the mosque after his arrival in Madinah. Along the way he built the Cuba Mosque in Cuba. But after coming to Medina, the first mosque was built by the Nawabi in the mosque. But before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) migrated to Madinah, the Sahaabah led by Hazrat As'ad bin Zarara (ra) performed the Friday prayer in Madinah. The question is, was that Friday prayer performed in the mosque? Or on the field? There is no mosque. So it would be foolish to ask the question of Friday prayers in the mosque. Note: Qurtubi in Tafseer - Surah Jumu'ah, Khazen in Tafseer of verse no. 9 - Surah Jum'ah in verse no. Not only that, there is another clear hadith: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: أَبَتَاهُ قال: "أي بني, كان صلى الله عليه وسلم من صلى عليه وسلم من صلى القرآن: في نقيع من حرة بني بياضة, قلت: كنتم يومئذ? قَالَ: َرْبَعِينَ رَجُلًا Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Malik r said to his father, Abbajan! Why do you apologize for As'ad bin Jurara when you hear Jumu'ah Azan? He said, O son! Before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) arrived from Makkah (Madinah), he was the first to perform the Jumu'ah prayer with us at a place called Khazamat in the rocky plains of Banu Bayazar. I asked, how many of you were then? He said, forty. (Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith No. 1062, Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah, Hadith No. 3546) Now we have a request from the ignorant brother who is making a complaint, if you do not know about any matter, ask the ulama. Don't write against Islam, like the Jewish Christians, against the Muslims with your eyes closed. By doing this he is misleading himself and misleading others. Answer to 2nd question This question also indicates the ultimate ignorance of the complainant. No one will ask such a question except a person who is ignorant about Islamic jurisprudence. Even the first graders of Islamic jurisprudence know that although the Jumu'ah prayer is not obligatory on the traveler, if he performs the Jumu'ah prayer, then his Jumu'ah prayer is performed. Again, the Zohar prayer does not have to be performed. I am the son of Ram, he said. قَالَ: نَعَمْ. He said: How do you make it? He said: صَلَّى الْعِيدَ, ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ, فَقَالَ: «مَن شَاءَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ, فَلْيُصَلِّ He said, "Once I was present when Hazrat Mu'awiyah bin Abu Sufyan asked Hazrat Zayd bin Arqam." He (Mu'awiyah) said, "Have you seen Eid and Jumu'ah being held on the same day with the Prophet (peace be upon him)?" He said yes. He asked again, "How did he do that?" He said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) first performed the Eid prayer; Then he took a break from performing the Jumu'ah prayer and said: "Whoever wants to perform it, he can perform it." Sunan Daremi, Hadith No. 1853 Sunan Abu Dawood, Hadith No. 1080 Sahih Ibn Khuzaima, Hadith No. 1484 What is the purpose of this hadith? If Eid day and Jumu'ah day are on the same day, is there no need to offer Jumu'ah prayer after Eid prayer? Is this what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) meant? Kiram in Muhaddisin wrote: أن المرادين بالرخصة في ترك الجمعة في هذين الحديثين هم أهل العوالي الذين منازلهم خارجة عن المدينة ممن ليست الجمعة عليهم واجبة. لِأنَّهُمْ فِي غَيْرِ مِصْرٍ مِنَ الْأَمْصَارِ وَالْجُمَعَةُ فَإِنَّمَا تَجِبُ عَلَى ঃَهْلِ الْأَمْصَارِ Whose abode is not Medina. On whom Jumu'ah prayer is not obligatory. Because they came from Anjpara village. Where Jum'ar is not obligatory. Because, Jumu'ah is obligatory only in the city. (Tahabi Sharif, Hadith No. 1154) What is revealed by that hadith and interpretation? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) made it clear that since it is not obligatory for the people coming from the village to offer the Jumu'ah prayer, they can return to the village without offering the Jumu'ah prayer. Or if he wishes, he can offer Jumu'ah prayer. Doesn't giving this permission prove that even if Jumu'ah prayer is not obligatory, if one performs it, then his Jumu'ah prayer will be performed? Even if Jumu'ah is not required, if someone performs it, then his Jumu'ah prayer is not performed, can the complainant brother show any valid description? The manner in which the complainant made everyone gathered at Tongi Maidan a traveler, the clean man has not the slightest knowledge of the traveler and the tour. Our question to the man is: 1 And all the worshipers of Dhaka city who have gathered at Tongi Maidan, are they also Musafir or not? 2 Those who have traveled from the nearest area of Dhaka, that is, from a distance less than the distance of the tour, are they also travelers or not? 3 Those who intend to stay in Tongi Maidan for more than 15 days, are they also travelers? Answer to question 3 The answer to this complaint has been passed in answer to question 2. He has raised such questions due to his ignorance about Hadith and Fiqh. Friday prayers are not obligatory in Anjpara village. But if the man from that village comes to town. If he prays Jumu'ah in the city then it will be his prayer. As has been quoted in Hadith in answer to question no.2. References are given from the book of Hanafi fiqh: In the sea of Ra'iq, and from the congregation on which it is permissible to perform the obligatory duty of time; Although it was not obligatory on the people of Anjparagaon, the people of the village used to come from their village to the city of Madinah to perform the Jumu'ah prayer with the Prophet (peace be upon him). It is narrated on the authority of Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: He said people used to come from their homes and on the outskirts of Medina to offer Friday prayers. (Sahih Muslim, Hadith No. 648, Sunan Abu Daud, Hadith No. 1055, Sahih Ibn Hibban, Hadith No. 1236) Where the Companions used to come to the city and perform the Jumu'ah prayer even though the Jumu'ah prayer was not obligatory on them. We can only regret having raised such a bizarre question there out of ignorance. What else do we have to do? May Allah protect the nation from the hands of these fools. Answer to question 4 This question is also an ignorant and malicious allegation. It has no reality. In the case of the traveler, the problem is that if he prays alone, or he himself leads the prayers, or the travelers gather in congregation, then they will fast. If the prayer of four rak'ats is performed in full, the prayer will not be performed. Rather, two rak'ats should be recited. But if the traveler makes iqtida behind the muqeem imam, then he will perform the full prayer with iqtida of the imam. Salam will not return after two rak'ats. No one can see a single narration from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) or from any of his Companions, so that the Companion of a traveler recites two rak'ahs of prayer and returns the salutation while praying behind the Muqeem Imam. So what is the reason for such an ignorant question? Can a person show any proof that a traveler who came to Tongi's Ijtimah prayed alone, whereas in a prayer consisting of four rak'ats only four rak'ats? Without knowing, is it an act of reward or a sin to make such an unreasonable deceptive idea? That is why Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “O you who believe! You stay away from unnecessary ideas. Certainly some of the ideas are sin. (Surah Hujurat-12) Allah has commanded the believers to stay away from unreasonable ideas. If the brother who made the false accusation is a believer, I hope you will save yourself from these baseless slanderous ideas. This is also a malicious allegation in response to the 5th allegation. There is no reality in this allegation. Can anyone see a part of the statement of Ijtima that it is said that people should leave the congregation of the mosque and come to the field of Tongi to congregate? Where did the complainant get this? Or have you discovered these things while sitting and burning with hatred and enmity against preaching? Surely the man's anti-preaching violent mind is giving birth to one false accusation after another. InshaAllah no one will ever be able to show any reality. It has been clearly stated in the hadith that praying with the congregation will be rewarded 28 times. (Bukhari, Muslim) But no one can deny that it is better to pray in the mosque. And the hard work of preaching is not to pray at home, but to come to the mosque and pray. What is the meaning of this ignorant allegation? May Allah protect the sincere Muslims from the lies of these jealous people. Accept the ijtima of preaching. Spread the radiant light of Haqq in the religion to the ends of the earth. Amen. Chumma Amin. 9477596878
