One of the beliefs of Ahl as-Sunnah wal Jamaat is that the Companions are the standard of truth. There are innumerable proofs in this regard from Quran and Hadith. So those who do not hold this belief are rejected from Ahl as-Sunnah wal Jama'at. The following are some of the innumerable proofs of the standard of truth that the Companions said:

1. Allaah has declared:"If they believe as you (the Companions) believe, then they will be guided." In this verse, Allah Himself declares the faith of the Companions as the criterion for receiving guidance and says that in the court of the Almighty, the faith that the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his Companions brought is acceptable. Therefore, the faith of a person whose faith will be different from theirs is not acceptable. (Ma'ariful Quran Urdu 1: 298, Surah Baqara - 137)
2. Elsewhere Allah Ta'ala has said:"When they are told," Believe, as other people (the Companions) have believed. " Mufassirin Kiram said that this verse shows that the criterion for verifying whether a person's claim of faith is correct or not is the faith of the Companions. Therefore, the faith of one who does not agree with the faith of the Companions in any matter, his faith will not be acceptable in the court of Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him). (Ma'ariful Qur'an Urdu 1:73) From the above two verses it is clear that while the faith of the Companions is the criterion of purity and acceptance in the most important matters like faith, then the Companions of the Companions must also be the standard of truth in other matters of religion.
3. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: The Children of Israel were divided into 72 sects. And my Ummah will be divided into 73 sects. Except one of them, the remaining 72 sects will be hellish. The Companions asked: Who will be the saved sect? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Those who are steadfast in the way that I and my Companions are, are the party of salvation. (Tirmidhi 2:93)
4. Elsewhere, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: My Companions are like the stars. Whoever of them you follow, you will be guided. (Mishkat Sharif 2: 554)This hadith has been narrated in many hadiths, at least in words. Although the words are slightly different, the meaning and purpose are all the same. While researching the word of a sanad of that hadith, some radical imams have mentioned some words as Maozu. But since the hadith has been narrated in more than one sanad and all the hadiths have the same meaning, no one objected to the exact meaning of the hadith, but no one objected to the meaning and declared the hadith at the level of "Hasan". And it is acceptable for everyone to present the document by the hadith of Hasan stage. For example, the hadith "Learning religious knowledge is obligatory on every Muslim" is weak in some respects but has been proved to be 'Hasan' as a whole. Some people are afflicted with the "terrible disease of little knowledge" and are unable to understand this subtle difference, so when they hear the above-mentioned hadith, they shout "Maozu". But they do not know the total number of hadiths that have been narrated.
5. Hazrat Ibn Masood. It is narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) that he who wants to follow the right path should follow the path of those Companions who have died on the basis of faith. That is, he did not leave Islam till his last life. (Death is spoken of so that the living may go astray at any moment.) They (the Companions) were blessed with the companionship of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). They were the best of this Ummah. He was the most kind. He was endowed with the deepest knowledge. Allah chose them specially to be blessed with the companionship of His Prophet and to establish his religion. O people of the world! Realize their status and follow in their footsteps. Hold on to their moral character as much as possible. Because they were founded on Sirat Mustaqeem. (Mishkat Sharif 1:32)As an example, 2 verses and some hadiths are presented here. That is enough for a person with a clear conscience.For centuries, the entire Muslim Ummah has been adhering to the standard of truth. The ummah has been holding this creed for almost a thousand years. This is also acknowledged in all the books of the Islamic creed. Nowadays, an Islamic thinker (?) Who has learned Islam only by doing research, unfortunately, has not had the opportunity to acquire knowledge from reliable ulama as instructed by the Shariah. He first and foremost claimed that he would not believe in anyone other than the Messenger of God (peace be upon him) as the standard of truth and would not consider anyone above criticism. (No. Jubillah)No one can become a doctor-engineer by reading books of any subject in the world except the medium of a teacher who is skilled in teaching subjects like medicine and engineering. But no one will go to them about that. On the contrary, if their decision is obeyed, the chances of the patient dying and the building collapsing will increase. So has the Qur'an-Hadith become so miserable and lawless that there is no condition for its interpretation? Will anyone begin to explain it in his own opinion? Maybe, he is a great scholar on another subject. But he is ignorant if he does not learn knowledge from the companionship of Muhaqqiq Ustad. Will his interpretation be like the death of Allah-Messenger? Never. What is done by an inexperienced doctor is done by that thinker. He has done many things in the name of Islam. But none of it worked for true Islam. On the contrary, the great loss of Sahih Islam has been caused by his writings. Many people have been rejected from Ahl as-Sunnah wal Jama'at because of their erroneous doctrines and beliefs. He has weakened his faith. Is it a service to Islam? And for this reason, there are as many sahihs and lines of religion in this country, such as- (a) thousands of madrasas of Deobandi line, (b) Haqqani Pir-Bujurg, (c) Tablighi Jamaat and (d) Sahih Islamic movement ulama, some of them belong to that person. He did not accept or accept the interpretation of the Qur'an and Sunnah. Does anyone think that all these ulama did not support him because of violence? There is no room for this idea about the Muslim scholars who have been serving Islam for one and a half thousand years and through whom we have found the religion. What good is Islam if a person spreads false beliefs in the name of Islam and millions of people accept it? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever hates or criticizes the Sahaabah has in fact hated me. (Tirmidhi Sharif) After the proclamation of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), how can anyone say in the name of Islam that he will not consider anyone other than the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) above criticism?Our responsibility is to convey the truth. Those who have guidance in their destiny will accept it. And if someone destroys his own faith by criticizing the Companions, what is there to do but guide others? 5337765477
