The Jum'ah khutbah is given in the mother tongue 5369766211

It is important to read the khutbah in Arabic. This is a Sunnah which has been practiced continuously in the age of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), the Companions, the Tabi'een and the Tabi'een, and no one has contradicted it. Instead of reciting the khutbah in Arabic, it is makrooh to just translate it or preach in another language. Many consider khutbah to be preaching and for this reason they demand to speak in their mother tongue. But in the Qur'an, in verse 9 of Surah Jum'ah, the khutbah is called dhikr, which is an act of worship. Therefore, the meaning of Qira'at of prayer cannot be said in Bengali even if the worshipers do not understand it, just as it cannot be said in Bengali without understanding the khutbah. However, if there is any issue in the context, it can be said in a language that the worshipers can understand. For example, if someone is speaking during the sermon, then he should be forbidden to speak in his mother tongue. 4266353277
