Media is a broad subject. Therefore, working in the media cannot be called haram. It is also forbidden to do those things which are forbidden in the media. It is also permissible to do those things which are permissible in the media. Meeting strangers, talking unnecessarily, etc. are all haram acts. Which is done in dramas and movies etc. Therefore, there is no doubt that these dramas, movies, advertisements based on girls are forbidden. But if any program is done without news or haram topics, then it is not permissible. And by doing these haram acts through the media, the sin is increased. Because by these many more people are being invited to make these vulgar love-loves. Which will forever remain as a source of sin. Therefore, even if the actor passes away, as many people will indulge in sin by watching his acting drama, the actor and actress will also get a sharer of the sin. So all Muslims should refrain from these acts. وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوً ۚ أُولئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ (31) : ٦) There is a class of people who blindly collect and mock people with false speech in order to mislead people from the path of Allah. For them there is a humiliating punishment. (Surah Luqman-6) ِ مَنْ اتَّبَعَهُ لا يَنْقُصُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئًا وَمَنْ دَعَا إِلَى ضَلالَةٍ فَعَلَيْهِ مِن الإِثْمِ مِثْلُ اثَامِ مَنْ ATَّبَعَ لَيَنْقُصُ ذ َلِكَ مِنْ Narrated by Hazrat Abu Huraira RA. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever guides to guidance, whoever follows his path, will receive a reward equal to that of the guide, without diminishing his reward." Thus the one who calls to misguidance, the one who commits a sin by it, will receive the same amount of sin as the inviter without any reduction in his sins.
