The prayers should be performed by wearing modest clothes which are not religious symbols of the infidels and by which people feel comfortable to attend the standard ceremonies and which are considered as useful. It is makrooh to pray while wearing clothes that people do not like to participate in standard ceremonies. In the light of this principle, since it is disliked to wear a half-sleeved shirt in a religious meeting or a state meeting in Buzurghan, it would be tantamount to wearing such clothes in the khilafah sunnat or makrooh.
