Here is our opinion on IS or Islamic State. Who are they? Who is Abu Bakr Baghdadi? What is his dogmatic belief? What is its main purpose? Is he someone's agent? Or is the only purpose of establishing the law of Allah Rabbul Alamin? None of this is clear to us. All the powerful media in the world are controlled by Jews or Christians. All powerful media including BBC, CNN, Voice of America, AP, AFP, Reuters are under their control. As a result we cannot verify anyone depending on their news. This American media once called Osama bin Laden a world leader. Again they made the villain. So we can't make any decision just depending on the news through their media. As we do not know of any founder or senior officials of IS. No we are aware of their location. So I can't tell you about their cancellation decision. Likewise, I cannot recognize Islam as a rightful caliphate claimant. We are not in a position to make any Shari'i decision on our part unless their beliefs and practices are fully disclosed to us. So our policy is not to encourage anyone to participate in this organization. Also, I don't think it is appropriate to use harsh words about those who are going. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ امَنُوا إِن جَاءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌ بِنَبَإٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوا أَن تُصِيبُوا قَومًا بِجَهَالَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَادِمِينَ (٤٩:٦) Believers!
