Question
Answer
- حامداومصلياومسلما، بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم -
After the Fajr prayer, one should sit in the mosque till sujorda and do dhikr, then perform two rak'at prayers. Narrated Abu Umama (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
The prayer is in the congregation, then the remembrance of God.
The person who performed the Fajr prayer with the congregation, then sat in the mosque till sunrise and recited Allah, then performed two rak'ats of prayer, returned with the reward of Hajj and Umrah. Muzaffar Kabir, Tabarani, Hadith 741 2. Going out to the mosque for obligatory prayers. Abu Umama (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
The one who performs ablution and goes out of his house for the purpose of obligatory prayers, gets reward like the one who performs Hajj. And the person who goes to the mosque only for the purpose of performing the morning prayer (Chashat prayer), gets the same reward as the one who performs Umrah. Sunan Abu Daud, Hadith 558; Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 22304 3. Going to the mosque to learn or teach the religion. Narrated Abu Umama (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
Whoever goes to the mosque does not wish except that he knows the good or the learned, for he will have a reward for the whole pilgrimage.
Whoever goes to the mosque for the purpose of learning or teaching something good, he will be fully rewarded like the one who performs Hajj. Muzaffar Kabir, Tabarani, Hadith 7473 4. To serve one's parents with taqwa and the pleasure of Allah. Anas Ra. He said, "A man came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said, 'I am very interested in jihad, but I cannot afford it.' The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, 'Are any of your parents alive?' Said, my mother is alive. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
فَأَبْلِ اللََهَ فِرَّكَ ذِذَا فَعَلْتَ ذَلِكَ فَأَنْتَ حَاجّ وَمُعْتَمِرٌ ، ذِذَا رَضِيَتْ عَنْكَ
Then establish a beautiful relationship with Allah by serving your mother. If you can do this and your mother is satisfied then you will get the reward of Hajj, Umrah and Jihad. So fear Allah and serve your mother. Musnad Abu Yala, Hadith 260; Muzame Awsat, Tabarani, Hadith 2915 May Allah Ta'ala grant us the tawfiq to do the above deeds. Amen 1556465783
