Question
We are one brother and one sister. One of my daughters was born. He is currently one year old. And one of my sister's sons. He is 5 years old. Since my brother-in-law and nephew-in-law are mahrams for my daughter in our family, we are thinking, if my sister becomes my daughter's milk mother, there will be no need to cover for her anymore. But my sister has no milk now. My daughter has to take medicine to make my sister drink milk. If after taking medicine like this, if breast milk comes and feeds it to my daughter, will my brother-in-law be considered as my daughter's milk father and my nephew as my daughter's milk brother? Thank you for the correct solution to the problem. May Allah reward you well. 9649196923

If you feed your daughter with milk even after taking medicine, your sister will become your daughter's stepmother and this sister's son will also become your daughter's stepbrother. But by feeding this milk, your brother-in-law will not be considered as the milk father of your daughter. Because a person will be a milk father only when he has milk due to having children. Of course, just as the husband of one's mother is not included in mahram even if he is not his father, so the husband of a suckling mother is included in mahram even if he is not a father. In verses 23 and 24 of Surah An-Nisa 'of the Qur'an, it is forbidden to marry a woman of the fourteen classes. وَرَبَآيِٕبُكُمُ الّٰتِي فِي حُجُوْرِكُمْ مِنّ نِسَآئِكُمُ الّٰطِيِ دَخَلْتُمْ بِهِنَّ. That is, the daughter of a wife who has had intercourse with him. [Surah An-Nisa '(4): 23] Here, the 'daughter of the wife' includes the wife's own daughter as well as the wife's milk daughter. Imam Bagabi rah in the commentary of the verse. Said- And it is forbidden for him to be the daughter of the man and the offspring of the offspring. That is, just as the daughter of one's own wife is haraam for him, so is the daughter of the wife's daughter and all his subordinate daughters haram for him. I want him to be his wife's milk girl or his own daughter. Everyone is forbidden for him. (Tafsir Bagabi-Maalimut Tanzeel 1/593) Therefore, in the case in question, if your sister makes your daughter drink milk in this way, even if your brother-in-law is not the milk father of your daughter, he will become her mahram as his wife's milk daughter. However, this will not make any other relative of your brother-in-law (e.g., father-in-law, brother-in-law) mahram of your daughter. 1762364391
