Question

12th Rabiul Awwal is the day of birth and death of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). So it is understood that the day is very important. I want to know if there is anything for us in this day or month from the Shariah? If so, what is the program? I have asked this because only if someone does sirat mahfil on that day. Someone took out the procession again. Again I saw a group serving ghazals in different mahallas and corners. Which of these do we think is correct? 3423578427

Answer

- حامداومصلياومسلما، بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم -

It is true that certain times have been declared blessed and virtuous by the Islamic Shari'ah. Such as Lailatul Qadr, Lailatul Bara'at, Ashura and Arafar Day etc. The deeds of these days or nights and many of its virtues have been narrated in the Hadith. But the deeds or virtues of Lailatul Mi'raj, Rabiul Awwal etc. are not mentioned. The mi'raj of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) does not happen every year like Laylat al-Qadr. It happened once in the life of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). There has never been a day before, there will never be a day after. Many people fast on this day and perform various rituals and worship on this night. But no instruction was given in this regard. So these are fictitious works and new additions to the religion and this means that on this important day it was necessary to announce the virtues and programs on the part of the Shari'ah. But since it was not done on behalf of the Shari'ah, we completed the unfinished work of the Shari'ah by doing good to the religion. Naujubillah. What a heinous crime it is that people have started making laws on their own behalf and pretending to be self-proclaimed legislators. In the Shari'ah, such an act is called bid'at. That is, to add or add something to the religion in the name of religion which is not proven by the Qur'an-Hadith. And bid'at is such a heinous crime that it usually does not lead to repentance. Because, in spite of the fact that bid'at is actually deen, the people of bid'at consider it as deen. So that person does not want to repent. In the same way, the 12th Rabiul Awwal is a day when there are no verses or hadiths about the virtues of that day. There is no instruction from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) as to the course of that day. Even Khulafa Rashedin ruled the state for 30 years after the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). During this long period of time, there is no evidence of any ceremony or any other period in the 12th Rabiul Awwal. In their hearts was the love of the Prophet less than the next people? They used to sacrifice their lives for the sake of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). On the day of the birth and death of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), an emotion arises in the heart of every believer. That's it But the believer cannot turn that emotion into a willful act. Because, his name is Bid'at. The love of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) must be expressed in the manner described by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Then that will be the Sunnah and the work of pleasing Allah. In short, there is no room for fiction in the Shari'ah because of passion and joy. We have to control our emotions and follow the rules of Shariah. Discussion of the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and his ideals and reciting more and more Darood Sharif on him is the food of the believer’s soul and his path. The body is given food every day. If you give it once a year, it will not work. In the same way the food of the soul is to be given every day. Therefore, the discussion of the life and ideals of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and the Darood Sharif is not something that can be fulfilled in a month. It has to be done for twelve months. There is no difference between Rabiul Awal and other months in this regard. So those who discuss the Prophet's teachings in all the months, listen to them and follow them, read more and more Darood Sharif, they will do in Rabiul Awwal And for those who do not do any of these in other months, only this month is a new discovery in the religion. These are bid'at and abominable acts in Islamic Sharia. Therefore, none of the methods mentioned in the question is a sign of love for the Prophet in the right way, but an abominable and unjust act. 5571248351
