The punishment of the grave is a fact proven by the hadith. Now the question is why punishment before trial? There can be 3 answers - 1 The result of the person is determined by doing good and bad deeds in the world. If you do good deeds, you will get comfort and if you do bad deeds, you will be entitled to punishment. Therefore it is not unreasonable to punish the deeds done in the world by going to the grave. 2 This is not really the original punishment. Rather, as in the world, a person is kept in prison before execution or other punishment, which is a form of punishment. The punishment of the grave is the same. Minor punishment is given before the main punishment. It is not guilty. 3 This is done for the benefit of the servant. The punishment after the decision of Hashar Maidan is very terrible. The punishment of the grave is nothing compared to that. In this world, as Allah Ta'ala sometimes puts a servant in danger and makes him suffer in order to make him clean and pure, by this the sins of that person are forgiven. He is beloved of Allah. Likewise, Allah will forgive the sins of some servants by being punished in their graves. On the field of Hashar, the person will rise in a state of guiltlessness. Then he will enter Paradise without being punished. So the punishment of the grave has been determined for the sinners not for evil but for good. Besides, there may be more logical answers. But contrary to all arguments, the point is, the fact is proved by the admissible. So believing in it is a must for every believer. عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَبْرَيْنِ، فَقَالَ: ” إِنَّهُمَالَيُعَذَّبَانِ، وَمَا يُعَذَّبَانِ فِي كَبِيرٍ، أَمَّا أَحَدُهُمَا: فَكَانَ لَا يَسْتَنْزِهُ مِنَ البَوْلِ – قَالَ وَكِيعٌ: مِنْ بَوْلِهِ – وَأَمَّا الْآخَرُ: فَكَانَ يَمْشِي بِالنَّمِيمَةِ “. Narrated by Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbas RA. He said, once the Prophet was passing by two graves. He said, these two graves are being punished. Ajab is not happening for any major reason. One is tormented in the grave because he did not urinate well. Another used to do chogolkhuri. He said, the Prophet used to pray, O Allah! I seek refuge with You from the punishment of the grave. I seek refuge from the punishment of hell.
