But if it is not achieved by oneself, then a Haqqani, a follower of the Sunnah, a full follower of the Shari'ah, will pledge allegiance to the Shaykh and strive for it. And naturally, just as one cannot become a full-fledged doctor without the companionship of an engineer, one cannot become a good engineer without the companionship of an engineer, and without the guidance of a master one cannot gain complete knowledge in any subject, similarly one cannot become a complete god without the companionship, companionship and advice of Allah.
