Those who say that money cannot be used to pay alms in charity, say the above because of ignorance of fiqh hadith and the practice of the Companions. Imam Abu Bakr Ibn Abi Shaybah, the teacher of Imam Bukhari, has given the title on page 506 of the 6th volume of the book of his world famous hadith "Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah". Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Sufyan Saori, Umar bin Abdul Aziz, Hazrat Hasan Basri, Imam Abu Yusuf, Imam Tahabi, Imam Ishaq bin Rahuai and Imam Abu Saur have expressed their desire to pay the fitri with money. (Zakatul Fitri Ahkamuha wa Nawaziluha, narrated by Muhammad bin Abdul Ghaffar-125). Ibn Rashid said: Imam al-Bukhari (may Allah be pleased with him) agreed with the Hanafis in this masala (paying alms in charity). One is that it cannot be achieved with anything other than the food mentioned in the Qur'an and Hadith. Another opinion is that it can be realized by the conventional food in the city. Although it is not the food described in the Qur'an and Hadith. This is like most of the ulama. Such as Imam Shafi'i. This is the purest statement. 6. There is no mention in the hadith that it is not permissible to pay the fitri in charity by anything other than food.
7. On the other hand, Abraham said: He said, "In the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) we used to pay alms in sadaqa with two husks of wheat." (Al-Mu'jamul Awsat Littabarani, Hadith No. 6962) However, the Hadith does not mention the payment of fitri in charity by the roof. The fact that the Companions performed the fitra with the help of the canopy proves that not only the food mentioned in the hadith is specific, but also there is an opportunity to perform the fitra with something else of equal value.

9. The main purpose of charity is to benefit the poor. And if money is given, the poor can use it in proportion to their needs.
