Question

When my grandfather died twenty years ago, everyone thought that it would be better to bury him on the side of the road, because many elderly people travel by road, so if they see the grave and pray for him, and if that prayer If Allah accepts, then he can go to heaven. There was such an idea in the society then. Still there. That is why my grandfather was buried next to the road; But now we know that there will be a world road over this grave, so we are very worried and upset. What will be the solution? Since there is no grave, can my grandmother be buried somewhere else? Because, husband and wife are buried side by side. 9583742579

Praying for the dead person from any place or reciting the Qur'an or giving alms with the intention of reaching the reward, his reward reaches the corpse. It is not necessary to go to the grave or bury on the side of the road. But if possible, it is better to bury the dead next to the graves of good people. If the grave of a privately owned cemetery is so old that the corpse in it becomes completely ground, then it is no longer a graveyard order. Rather it became common land. Then it is permissible to cultivate like other lands, to plant trees, to build houses or mosques-madrasas, to build roads and ghats. And the honor that has to be done in the graveyard is basically for the honor of the dead person. When the corpse turns to dust, there is no order to respect such empty land. According to the wise scholars, the corpses of our country usually decompose in 10/12 years and mix with the soil. Since your grandfather's grave is twenty years old, there is no difficulty in the eyes of Shari'ah to build a road over it. The dead person will not harm your grandfather. And it is mustahab or good for husbands and wives or relatives to have their graves together. There is no sin if you cannot do that. Therefore, there is no difficulty in giving your grandmother's grave away from your grandfather's grave. 5145689228
