This hadith is narrated from Hazrat Hasan Basri in Mursal Sutras. The love of the world is the head of every sin. Narrated by Hasan Basri. The love of the world is the root of all sin. (Kanzul Ummal, Hadith No. 8114) In other words, An-Sufyan bin Saeed said: (Kanzul Ummal, Hadith No. 9964) The narration of this hadith is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The love of the world is the head of all sins. (Jameul Usul, Hadith No. 2603) There are many words about this hadith. Ibn Abiduniyah has quoted the above statement as the statement of Hazrat Malik bin Dinar in his book "Makayedush Shaitan". Imam Bayhaqi (may Allah be pleased with him) in his book "Kitabuj Juhad" has mentioned the saying of Hazrat Isa (AS). Imam Bayhaqi has also quoted this statement in chapter 61 of the book Shu'abul Iman. According to Ibn Lahiya, Ibn Yunus mentions the saying of Saeed bin Masood in his book "History of Egypt". Hazrat Daylami has also quoted it in his book Firdaus. And the son of Daylami has declared Hazrat Ali as a rabbi without any source and has mentioned him as Marfu from the Prophet (peace be upon him). Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah be pleased with him) firmly referred to this statement as Hazrat Jundub Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him). Ali bin Madani (may Allah be pleased with him) has clearly said that the narration of Mursal of Hazrat Hasan Basri (may Allah be pleased with him) is saheeh if it is narrated by the rabbis. As such, this hadith is also becoming saheeh. Hazrat Abu Jura'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Hasan Basri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said in the case of a hadith, I have found the basis of that hadith. Imam Dara Qutani said: The hadith is false. Some more words are quoted-

  1. Allama Iraqi said: The hadith is mursal. (Takhrijul Ahiya-3/249)
  2. Allama Sakhabi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The hadith is mursal and its sanad is Hasan.
  3. Allama Suyuti said that it has a certificate up to Hasan Basri, so there is no evidence that it is fake. (Taddaribur Rabi-1/46)
  4. Mollah Ali Kari Rah said, its certificate is Hasan Mursal. (Al-Asrarul Marfua-18)
  5. Muhammad bin Muhammad Alguzzi said: Mursal in Hasan Sanad. (Itkan Mauhsinu-359). Allama Yarkani said: The hadith is Hasan. (Mukhtasarul Makasid-359). Allama Ajluni Rah said, the certificate is Hasan. (Kashful Khafa-1/412). Allama Jarullah Assadi said: Hasan Mursal. (Annawafe-120)
  6. Allama Shawqani said: This is a strong mursal. The meaning is correct. (Alfatahur Rabbani-4/1892)
  7. Albani said: Zayf. (Zaiful Jame, No. 262)None of the accepted muhaddiths and imams of Jarah Tadil have commented that the hadith is fabricated. Except Nasiruddin Albani and Ibn Uthaymeen. A statement by Nasiruddin Albani is also weak but not fake. Contrary to the statements of the imams of the world-famous Jarah Tadil, there is no chance of accepting the false comments of Albani and Uthaymeen. The mentioned muhaddiths were the Imams of Jarah Tadil. And Nasiruddin Albani and Ibn Uthaymeen are the common general muhaddiths. So there is no point in ignoring the statements of the Imams of Jarah Tadil and taking the statements of the two of them. So to call this hadith a forgery is nothing but presumption. 2688889517
