It is completely permissible to bring a chair to the mosque and sit on it and preach. And it is better to sit on the pulpit before or after the obligatory Jumu'ah obligatory prayers and not on the chair, and this is the Sunnah. It is to be noted that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) himself preached Waz while sitting in a chair inside the mosque. As it is narrated in a hadith of Muslim Sharif that Hazrat Abu Rifa'ah Razi. Narrated that I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in such a state that he was giving a sermon at that time. I said, O Messenger of Allah! An unfamiliar traveler has arrived. He wants to know about it as he is completely ignorant of religion. Hazrat Abu Rifa'ah Razi. It is narrated that after that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) stopped delivering the khutbah and proceeded towards me and came to me. Then a chair was brought there. He (the Companions) said, "I think the legs of the chair were made of iron." He sat in that chair and taught me the things that the great Lord Himself taught him. He then used a chair in the mosque to preach without the khutbah and did not sit on the pulpit and preach; So it is sunnat. In our society today, just as it is considered najaiz or bad to sit in a chair inside a mosque, various questions have been asked before. For example, there are such questions in Fatawa Mahmudiya and it has been said that the hadith is narrated by Imam Bukhari. He brought his book "Adabul Mufrad". So it is nothing but ignorance and foolishness to ask unnecessary questions about a clear hadith. (Fatawa Mahmudia: 2/317) Abu Rifa'ah said: The end of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is over. God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not know what God knew, then he delivered the last sermon. (Narrated by Muslim: 1/287) Moreover, it is stated on page 63 of Aglatul Awam that even if the meaning of the sermon is recited after the prayer, it is better to move away from the pulpit. Because, so as to stay away from the analogy of reading the sermon. But the Jumu'ah khutbah is recited before the prayer. It is not recited after the prayer. And even if you give a sermon after the prayer, then it is better to move away from the pulpit. So that the sermon does not become similar. Then it is not only better to move away from the pulpit while preaching before the prayer; Rather it is understood to be urgent. Because, that is the time to read the sermon. So at that time, sitting on the pulpit and preaching and preaching becomes like a full sermon. So I want to preach while sitting in a chair or leaving the pulpit. And this is the best and sunnat. (Evidence: Muslim Sharif: 1/26, Fatawa Mahmudia: 2/317, Aglatul Awam: 63) For this reason, Hazrat Umar Farooq agreed. At that time, when the rules of narration were introduced differently before the khutbah, Hazrat Abu Hurairah and Tamim Dari agreed before the khutbah. Used to narrate. Of course, both of them used to narrate from a distance from the pulpit. None of them used to sit on the pulpit. Then when Hazrat Umar Farooq agreed. When Zum'ar was present for the sermon, they would close the statement. Note that the command not to weave while sitting on the pulpit is specific only to the time of Jum'ah. It can be recited on the pulpit at any time other than Jumu'ah. 9363776515
