Non-Muslim citizens of an Islamic state or a Muslim state will live there as hostages on the condition that they pay jizya or taxes. They and Muslims will have equal rights in terms of security. As much as the government has a responsibility to protect the life and property of a Muslim citizen, it also has a responsibility to protect the life and property of a hostage. However, even if they are allowed to perform religious rites in such a state, they have to do so in secret. They will not be able to perform any religious ceremonies with public pomp. Because, it has been declared in the Holy Quran - "Surely Islam is the only religion chosen by Allah." (Surah Al 'Imran: 19) So all religions except Islam are invalid and false. There is nothing but idolatry and music in the religious ceremonies of all communities, including Hindus, Buddhists, Christians and Jews, which is completely shirk and haram. Those whose religion is such is undoubtedly a disbeliever. There is no room for doubt. And the disbelievers are the open enemies of Islam and the Muslims. They are making various efforts to eradicate Islam. Therefore, it would not be Shari'ah for a Muslim or a government of a Muslim state to help the infidels in any work. Allaah has declared: "Cooperate with one another in the cause of goodness and piety, and do not co-operate with one another in sin and transgression." (Surat al-Ma'ida: 2) It is evident in this verse that no help, no matter how small, may be given for any act contrary to the Shari'ah. And idolatry of Hindus is blatant blasphemy and anti-Islam. So there is no question of cooperating in such work. But it is the responsibility of the head of government to help and co-operate in various religious institutions including mosques and Eidgahs and if there is no such arrangement. That is why Hindus or non-Muslims are not allowed to participate in religious ceremonies. The Muslim government does not have the responsibility to help and cooperate in these works. However, if the religious institutions of the non-Muslim community are damaged or obstructed by Muslims, the government will compensate them. But they will not be allowed to set up any religious institution in a new way. Now the thing is, they are also citizens of the country. From a neutral point of view, since they are citizens of this country, they may feel like Muslims when it comes to getting help and assistance in religious matters. But there is no opportunity in Islam to adopt such secularism. Because, if a person from a foreign community is interested in living in a Muslim state or in an Islamic state, he may have to convert to Islam. Otherwise the Muslims will have to be subjugated by collecting taxes. Besides, there is no opportunity in Islam to adopt secularism. Because, adopting secularism means ‘other religions are also true. No religion is void. 'Acknowledging this, a doctrine of all religions should be formed. The doctrine that the followers of all religions will have equal rights. The government will realize the demands of all classes equally. There is no question of cooperating in the religious work of any foreign community by adopting such a method. 4858568293
