On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Remember Allaah more so that people may call you mad. (Musnad Abd bin Humaid, Hadith No. 925, Sahih Ibn Hibban, Hadith No. 617, Musnad Ahmad, Hadith No. 11653, Shuabul Iman, Hadith No. 523) Hibban and Hakeem have said that the hadith is saheeh. (Kashful Khafa, Narration No. 498) No accepted muhaddithin has commented on this hadith as false or fabricated. He who says is lying. Even Shaykh Albani, a respected person among the so-called Ahlul-Hadeeth brothers, did not comment on this hadith as false and fabricated. On what basis is the person calling this hadith a forgery? May Allah protect the Muslim nation from those who deny the hadith in the name of acting on the hadith. The explanation of the hadith is to be engaged in remembrance all the time. Like when we see a person saying the same thing all day, does the person go crazy or is he saying the same thing all day?
