It is difficult to find fundamental differences between modern Judeo-Christians and pagans. So they all have the same command. A disbeliever is one who rejects any essential aspect of the religion. And the polytheist is the one who associates others with Allah. As such, Jews and Christians are infidels. Because they don't consider the Prophet as the last prophet. At the same time, believing that Jesus is the son of God and the creator, Christians are known as the worst polytheists in the world. So they are infidels and polytheists. Now the question is what is the command to live as neighbors? Or what is the order of these infidels to live in the state? If living with them causes religious harm to the Muslims and there is a possibility of corruption in their practices and beliefs, then it is not permissible to live as their neighbors or in their state. But if there is a religious problem, i.e. faith and deeds, there is determination that there is no corruption in belief, then there is no equality in living in a state of infidels or being a neighbor to them. (Fiqhi Maqbalat-1/232) But if there is a possibility of losing one's faith and deeds by mixing with them, or if one considers living in a heathen country better and a matter of pride than living in a Muslim country, then it is not permissible to live in a disbelieving country. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Whoever is like a people and dwells with him is like him, (Sunan Abu Dawud, Kitab al-Jihad, Chapter 2/385). /375 3517749467
