There is no saheeh hadeeth about tying the hands on the chest. The status of the documents that are resorted to in this case is as follows: - (1) Hazrat Wail Ibn Hujar. Its hadith (Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah: 1/273, H. No. 489) is not a Sahih Hadith. Muammal Ibn Ismail is in its sanad. He narrates it from Sufyan Saori. Imam Bukhari called Mu'ammal 'Munkarul Hadith' and he also said, 'It will not be valid to narrate from what I will call Munkarul Hadith.' Ibn Sa'd, Abu Jura'a Razi, Abu Hatim Razi and Darakutni, among others, have called Mu'ammal "victims of excessive mistakes." Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani said in Fath al-Bari: (مؤمل بن إسماعيل فى حديثه عن الثوري ضعيف) There is a weakness in Mu'ammal's narration from Sufyan. (Under Hadith 5172) and contrary to another narration by Sufyan Saori. And the mistake of Mu'ammal Ibn Ismail in this hadith is Wail Ibn Hujr. It is proved only by looking at the narrations of the traditions narrated to be. Wail Ibn Hujar. The hadith was narrated from his student Kulaib from him, Asem from him, and nine of his students from Asem, namely:

2. Zaida
3. Abdullah bin Idris
4. Abdul Waheed
5. Good morning. Zuhair ibn Mu'awiyah. Salam Ibn Sulaim. Khalid bin Abdullah
6. Sufian SaoriEight of these nine students from Assam (على الصدر) did not mention ‘on the chest’. This word is found only in the formula of Sufyan Saori. And two students of Sufyan Saori have narrated this hadith from him. Abdullah bin Walid and Muammal bin Ismail. Of these two, Abdullah ibn Walid also did not mention the word ‘on the chest’. Only Mu'ammal Ibn Isma'il mentions the word 'on the chest'. And the deeds of Imam Sufyan Saori himself were not in accordance with this hadith. Imam Nawabi writes, "Imam Abu Hanifa, Sufyan Sauri, Ishaq Ibn Rahua and Abu Ishaq Marwazi, one of our Shafi'is, said, 'Both hands will be tied below the navel.'This clearly proves that the word 'on the chest' was mistakenly added by Mu'ammal ibn Ismail. So there is no opportunity to give evidence by this hadith. (Sharh Muslim: 1/83, Abu Dawood: 1/112, Musnad Ahmad: 4/317, Baihaqi: 2/131)(2) Tawas Rah. Said:عن طاوس, قال: «كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يضع يده اليمنى على يده اليسرى ثم يشد بهما على صدره وهو في الصلاة» (أبو دود- 759) وعزاه المزنى (-188 9) إلى أبى دود فى المراسيل-The narration of Taus is in Hadith No. 659 of Abu Dawood Sharif. This is ‘Mursal’ i.e. the formula is detached, and they do not consider Mursal to be authentic. In addition, there is a rabbi named 'Sulaiman Ibn Musa'. Bukhari about him. Says: (عنده مناكير) He has many munkar matters. Imam Nasai said. Says: (ليس بالقوي) He is not a strong rabbi. (Dr. Al-Kashif)(3) Hazrat Ibn Abbas about tying hands on the chest. There is a hadith from Baihaqi (Baihaqi H. No. 2133). In its sanad there is Rawh ibn Musayyab. He is an extremely weak rabbi. Ibn Hibban said. He says about him: He used to narrate false hadiths from the sources of faithful people. It is not permissible to take hadith from him. Ibn Adi said: (أحاديثه غير محفوظة) His hadith is not correct. (Tahajibut Tahajib: 4/231)(4) Hazrat Ali Ra. Its hadith is in Bukhari's 'Tarikhe Kabir'. Again this hadith is mentioned in the same Sanad by Ibn Abi Hatim in the book Al-Jarhu wat Ta'dil. There is a saying in prayer that the right hand should be placed on the left hand, not on the chest (على الصدر). Similarly it is mentioned in Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah. There is also the word ‘on the chest’. (Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah: H. No. 3962)In addition, Imam Bukhari did not support this hadith in his book At-Tarikhul Kabir. Rather, after mentioning it, he said:Qutayb said: On the authority of Hamid bin Abd al-Rahman, on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Al-Jaad, on the authority of Asim Al-Jahdari, on the part of Ali's companions Sit on the cross.Meaning: Kutaiba Rah. According to Humaid bin Abdur Rahman, from Yazid bin Abul Jad, he is related to Asim Zahdari. From its student Uqba, he is Hazrat Ali. Narrated from: He placed his hand on his wrist. (At-Tarikhul Kabir: Biography No. 6437)That is why Allama Ibn Katheer said. In his commentary, he says in his commentary on Surah Kawthar: This hadith is not saheeh.(5) Hazrat Hulb Ra. Its hadith is Musnad a Hamad 5/226, ha. No. 22026). Only Yahya from Sufyan mentions tying his hands on his chest. Musnad Ahmad and Darakutni Waqi and Abdur Rahman Ibn Mahdi. Narrated by two Sufis. But in their description there is no mention of putting hands on the chest. Abul Ahwas, a companion of Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Musnad Ahmad Sufyan, has narrated it from the same Ustad Simak. There is no mention of putting one's hand on one's chest in the description of any of them. So it is a ‘shay’ (rare) hadith, which is not acceptable. Allama Nimabi Rah. Asarus Sunan writes in his book:و يقع في قلبي: أن هذا تصحيف من الكاتب, و الصحيح: يضع هذه على هذه, فيناسبه قوله: وصف يحيى اليمنى على اليسرى فوق المفصل و يوافقه سائر الروايات.Meaning: I think the word على صدره (on the chest) was due to a mistake made by the author. Correct: You put this hand on this hand, so that it matches the next word. Because, it has been said later: Yahya has shown his right hand on the wrist of his left hand. And it then coincides with the descriptions of other narrators. (Asar Rus Sunan: 108)As such, this hadith became a supporting document of the Hanafis.
