Question
Answer
- حامداومصلياومسلما، بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم -
When saying tahrima in takbeer for muqabbir, it is necessary to make the intention of tahrima in one's takbeer, for the prayer to be saheeh. Saying takbeer aloud without the intention of one's own takbeer and only for the sake of listening to others will ruin the prayers of all the muqtadis who will do iqtida after hearing his takbeer. And if you intend to do both, then there is no problem, but it should be done. In the same way, if Imam Sahib, while saying Tahrima in Takbeer, does not intend to offer his prayers only to the Muqtadis, then the prayers of Imam Sahib and the Muqtadis will not be valid. And in the case of takbeers other than tahrima in takbeer, both should be intended. However, even if you intend to listen to the worshipers only during those takbeers, the prayer will not be wasted. It is to be noted that it is makrooh and bid'at to appoint a muqabbi when the voice of Imam Sahib has clearly reached the last row of the congregation. However, the muqabbir will stand where the sound of takbeer of Imam Sahib can be clearly heard while praying in congregation. There is no basis in our country for the rule of standing behind Imam Sahib. 1242149433
