The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has clearly stated, أَنْتُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِأَمْرِ دُنْيَاكُمْ that is, you and the ummah are more aware of worldly matters. (There is no need to ask the Prophet (PBUH) about this and take a solution) (Sahih Muslim, Hadith No. 2363) Therefore, reciting Ajifa for fulfilling a Hajat, for marriage, for passing an exam, for getting rid of diseases, etc. has nothing to do with the afterlife. All of these are pre-death. So these are the worlds. It has nothing to do with religion. So any method will be acceptable for these tasks. If not, it is something forbidden in the Quran and Hadith. Therefore, in these cases, the use of drugs discovered by worldly doctors is valid. Likewise, reciting verses of the Quran or dua durood will also be valid. There is no problem with that.
