There is a saheeh hadeeth about tying the hand under the navel in prayer. (1) Hazrat Wail Ibn Hujar. Said: «رَيأتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَ اللههُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَضَعَ يَمِينَهُ عَلَى شِمَالِهِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ Meaning: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) placing his right hand on his left hand and placing it under his navel in prayer. (Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah: H. 3959) قال الشيخ عوامة في تحقيق هذا الحديث: و هذا إسناد صحيح, قال الإمام القاسم ابن قطلوبغا في كتابه "التعريف و الأخبار بتخريج أحاديث الاختيار" بعد ما نقله سندا و متنا: و هذا إسناد جيد, و قال العلامة محمد عابد السندي في طوالع الأنوار على الدُّرِّ الْمُخْتَارِ بَعْدَ تَخْرِيْجِ هَذَا الْحَدِيْثِ: وَرِجَالُهُ كُلُّهُمْ ثِقَاتٌ وَأَثْبَاتٌ. (Author Ibn Abi Shaybah: 3/320) Meaning: Sheikh Awama Rah. He said to Tahqi of this hadith, the sanad of the hadith is saheeh. Imam Qasim Ibn Qutlubuga said. Referring to the hadith in his book 'At-Ta'rif wal Akhbar', he said that the sanad and matan are strong and powerful. Allama Abed Sindhi Rah. Referring to this hadith (with sanad and matan) in his book 'Twwaliul Anwar', he said, 'All the rabbis of the sanad of this hadith are acceptable, there is not a single weak rabbi'. The detailed narration of Ahmad and Abu Dawood after mentioning the short narration of Hazrat Wail Ibn Hujr in the book ‘Nailul Awtar’ and then the position of the believer on the left hand (after placing the right hand on the left hand) «ثُمَّ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى كَفِّهِ الْيُسْرَى وَ الرُّسْغَ وَ السَّاعِدَ» (Then he placed his right hand on the back of the palm of his left hand, pointing to the wrist and arm) وَالْمُرَادُ أَنَّهُ وَضَعَ يَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى كَفِّ يَدِهِ الْيُسْرَى وَرُسْغَهَا وَسَاعِدَهَا. وَلَفْظُ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ « Meaning: He has placed his right hand on the back, wrist and arm of the palm of his left hand. Said: ِّنَّ مِنَ السَّلّةاّة إِنَّ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ فِي الصَّلٰوةِ إِنَّ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ فِي الصَّلَةِ. (Ahmad: 1/110, Abu Dawood: In the narration of Ibn Al-Arabi and Ibn Dassah: 756, Sheikh Al-Awma in the narration of the researcher Ibn Dawood, and Al-Darqatani: 1/285, Ibn Abi Shaybah: 3966 and in it Abdul Rahman Ibn Ishaq Huwa. Weak, but testifies to the previous hadith) Meaning: It is sunnat in prayer: keeping the palm on the palm and keeping it below the navel. (Musnad Ahmad: 110, Abu Dawood: H. No. 656, Darakutni: 1/265, Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah: H. No. 398. This Sanad contains Abu Shaybah Abdur Rahman Ibn Ishaq Al Waseti. Although he is weak, but the first hadith supports it. Is doing, so that weakness is gone.) (3) Hazrat Abu Hurairah. He said: - ْ َْخْذُ الْأَكُفِّ عَلَى الْأَكُفِّ فِي الصَّلَاةِ تَحْتَ السُّرَّةِ. (Abu Dawud: 758 and also mentioned Abdul Rahman Al-Mazkur) Meaning: In prayer, hold the other palm with the palm of the hand and place it under the navel. (Abu Dawood: H. No. 657. It also contains the aforesaid Abdur Rahman whose weakness has been removed.) (4) Hazrat Hajjaj Ibn Hassan. He said: - سَمِعْتُ بَبَا مِجْلَزٍ ، أَوْ سَأَلْتُهُ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: كَيْفَ يَصْنَعُ؟ He said: ط يَضَعُ بَاطِنَ كَفِّ يَمِينِهِ عَلَى كَفِّ شِمَالِهِ وَيَجْعَلُهَا َْسْفَلَ مِنَ السُّرَّةِ مص39 Meaning: I heard Abu Mizlaj say, or Hajjaj said: I asked Abu Mizlaj how to tie my hands in prayer? He replied: Place the palm of the right hand on the back of the palm of the left hand and place it below the navel. (Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah: H. No. 3973, Imam Mardini said in his book ‘Jawaharrun Naqi’ about this coming: Its sanad is Zayd-2/31) (5) Ibrahim Nakhai Rah. He said: - َ يَضَعُ يَمِينَهُ عَلَى شِمَالِهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ تَحْتَ السُّرَّةِ »(Author Ibn Abi Shaybah: 3960) Meaning: In prayer, place the right hand on the left hand and tie it under the navel. (Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah: 3969, its sanad is Hasan) (6) Allama Ibn Munzir. In his book Al-Awsat, he writes: Isaac said: Underneath the head is strong in the hadith, and close to humility. (Average: 3/243) Meaning: Hazrat Ishaq Rah. (Who is the teacher of Imam Bukhari.) He said: The hadith of tying the hand under the navel is stronger and closer to humility. 8917566235
