If a mosque is like this, it is not possible to expand it, then if there is no worshipers in that mosque, then it is permissible to build another mosque next to it if necessary. In this case, care must be taken so that the first mosque does not become completely deserted. But if it is possible to expand the first mosque, then it will not be permissible to abandon it and build another mosque next to it. However, if it is built, then it will also become a mosque, the rest of the first mosque will be demolished unnecessarily, all concerned will be guilty. So the mosque, which is not getting space due to its small size, the fear of collapse due to weak infrastructure, can be demolished and rebuilt with a strong foundation. So there is no point in deserting this mosque in vain. The old mosque should be rebuilt in the same place with the cost of building a new mosque. And it is not permissible to build an Eidgah by completely desolating the mosque. However, it is permissible to offer Eid prayers in the mosque. If regular prayers are offered in that mosque, then there is no problem in offering Eid prayers in that mosque if necessary during Eid. But it will not be permissible to change the whole mosque from the condition of the mosque to an Eidgah because the mosque has been deserted and its reputation has been tarnished. وَمَنْ َْظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ مَنَعَ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ أَنْ يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ وَسَعَى فِي خَرَابِهَا আর (Surat al-Baqara, 114) 1597822237
